Why BouncePoint
At BouncePoint, we’re addressing a pressing issue in the tech industry: the retention of women in technology roles. While many nonprofits encourage women to pursue tech degrees and urge companies to hire them, the reality is challenging—only 25% of tech degree holders are women, and companies eager to hire them often struggle to find candidates. Even more concerning, women leave their tech careers at a rate 50% higher than men, exacerbating their already low representation in the field.
That’s why we founded BouncePoint. We partner with companies to understand why women are leaving tech and help them create inclusive, supportive workplaces where women can thrive. By fostering environments with meaningful benefits, clear promotion opportunities, and respectful relationships with coworkers, clients, and managers, we aim to make tech a place where women want to stay. When women share positive, rewarding experiences in tech with their friends and family, more will be inspired to pursue these degrees and careers.
We also empower women entering tech by helping them identify companies that align with their career goals and values, ensuring a strong start. We believe this will lead to more young ladies and girls pursuing tech degrees, creating a ripple effect that transforms the industry for generations to come. Together, we’re building a future where women not only join the tech industry but excel in it.
