Karen Smith

Karen serves as Secretary of the BouncePoint Board and brings a strong background in leadership, communication, and relationship-building. A former PTA President, she has extensive experience organizing events, building partnerships, and bringing people together around a shared purpose.

Professionally, Karen leads the Marketing department at Awecomm, where she focuses on strategic messaging, community engagement, and collaborative initiatives. Her strengths in networking and communication help amplify BouncePoint’s mission and connect the organization with supporters who believe in keeping women in tech.

She is passionate about creating environments where women are supported, visible, and able to grow through meaningful connections.
